SEISMIC ACTIVITY IN THE SNOWY MOUNTAINS REGION AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURES
Table I
Computed data for Snowy Mountains earthquakes

The tremors in the vicinity of Berridale appear to lie along two distinct lines, which are labelled AA´ and BB´ in Fig. 1. The same division is apparent in the order in which the movements occurred, Nos. 4, 5, 7, 9 and 10 lie close to the line AA´, whereas Nos. 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 are near BB´. No. 20 occupies a position almost midway between the lines. Later movements are distributed more randomly throughout the Snowy Mountains area, but Nos. 31, 39 and 41 are near AA´, and Nos. 26, 28, 40 and 42 are near BB´.
